Dental Implants

A dental implant is a titanium screw that’s placed directly into your jawbone, replacing your missing tooth root. After it’s fitted, the bone surrounding your implant will gradually fuse to it, holding the implant firmly in place.

Please do contact us to arrange an implant consultation and discussion and we will let you know the various possibilities and if dental implant treatment is the correct choice for you.

Orthodontic Implants

Orthodontic Implants are tiny implants that are used with orthodontic treatment (braces) as anchors to move teeth. “For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction”. So moving teeth is often difficult when there is not a lot of support.

They are much smaller than regular implants and removed after the treatment is finished

the treatment plan consists of cosmetic and functionally restorative procedures, including teeth whitening, composite bonding, veneers, dental crowns, orthodontics (braces), oral maxillofacial surgery and gummy smile reduction.

Full Mouth Rehabilitation

There are a number of people who have dental problems throughout their mouths that must be treated comprehensively with a vision of a final result that improves both function and esthetics.

The treatment of full mouth rehabilitation is recommended for patients who have multiple oral health problems affecting their teeth, mouth, gums and/or jaw. These problems often include a combination of two or more of these issues:

♦ Missing teeth (from decay or trauma)

♦ Broken or cracked teeth

♦ Severe tooth decay

♦ Misaligned teeth

♦ Teeth that have been eroded due to acid or grinding

♦ Gum disease / receding gums

♦ Badly discolored teeth

Digital Intraoral Photography

The process of dental digital photography is a kind of macro-photography and with the advent of digital cameras; photography has become an easy and accessible way of educating and documenting our patients

Paediatric Dentistry

Pediatric dentists are dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teen years. They have the experience and qualifications to care for a child’s teeth, gums, and mouth throughout the various stages of childhood. Children begin to get their baby teeth during the first 6 months of life

Laser dentistry

To be specific, laser dentistry refers to light energy that is a thin beam of extremely focused light, exposed to a particular tissue so that it can be molded or eliminated from the mouth.

Despite it being new to dentistry, lasers have proven to be successful. Dental cleaning using lasers can remove the infected tissues along the gumlines. They work by evaporating the infected tissue from the gums. Laser dental cleaning reduces the risk of serious oral issues such as oral cancer.

Crown & bridge

Both crowns and most bridges are fixed prosthetic devices. Unlike removable devices such as dentures, which you can take out and clean daily, crowns and bridges are cemented onto existing teeth or implants, and can only be removed by your dentist.

A crown is used to entirely cover or “cap” a damaged tooth. Besides strengthening a damaged tooth, a crown can be used to improve its appearance, shape or alignment. A crown can also be placed on top of an implant to provide a tooth-like shape and structure for function.

Single sitting root canal treatments

When there is inflammation or infection in the roots of a tooth, patients usually require a root canal. An endodontist who specializes in such therapy carefully removes the pulp inside the tooth during root canal treatment, cleans, disinfects, and fills the root canals, and then places a filling to seal the cavity. We offer a single sitting RCT treatment option which saves time and is more comfortable for the patient.

Younger patients that are undergoing a comprehensive orthodontic treatment plan may undergo tooth extraction as one of the first stages of treatment. Some patients have overcrowding of the teeth and need the teeth pulled so the remaining teeth can move into proper alignment. This is the case when the size of the teeth is too large in relation to the size of the jaw. If your dental arches can’t accommodate all of your teeth, we may recommend dental extraction and braces.

Some patients may be at risk of overcrowding after braces treatment, when the wisdom teeth come in. If your wisdom teeth are growing in at an angle or there is not enough room for them, we may recommend wisdom tooth extraction.
